Ensuring that the Slope Areas are managed and maintained and that slope ratios are preserved.

Attending meetings with the Operations Manager, Committee members, homeowners, contractors, consultants, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and governmental agencies.

Overseeing any litigation that the Association might be involved in. Meeting with attorneys, if necessary, to protect the interests of the Association.

When necessary, attending court hearings or giving depositions on behalf of the Association.

Ensuring that the Association has the necessary insurance policies.

Establishing rules and regulations relating to the Slope Areas and the Spyglass community.

Establishing a delinquency policy to ensure payment of back dues, late fees, lien fees, foreclosure costs and attorneys’ fees by delinquent homeowners.

Attending and conducting Board meetings at least every six months, including the Annual Election Meeting.

Overseeing the work done by the Operations Manager.

Writing the Spyglass newsletter.

Preparing and approving the Association’s annual budget every fiscal year to be mailed to each homeowner prior to the end of the previous fiscal year.

Preparing and approving the Association’s balance sheet, income and expense statement, to be mailed to each homeowner within 120 days after the end of each fiscal year.
